Gates to Success First-Generation Student Organization
The Gates to Success First-Generation Student Organization is committed to helping undergraduate students achieve a meaningful college experience. Social
and academic events are held throughout the year to connect students with the first-gen
community on campus.
Gates to Success strives to build community among our first-generation college student
population and campus/community advocates in order to help students succeed at San Diego State University. They do this by partnering with our Student Success area and with faculty/staff
across campus.
Society of First Generation PreHealth Students Society of First Generation PreHealth Students is an organization revolved around mentorship and service that maximizes each student's potential. Recognized/Awarded by Dr. Oz.
The purpose of this organization is to provide mentorship and guidance to first generation students seeking careers in the medical field. This organization will host guest speakers via Instagram Live to answer questions and inspire the students with their story.
