Gates to Success First-Generation Student Organization

The Gates to Success First-Generation Student Organization
is committed to helping undergraduate students achieve a meaningful college experience. Social and academic events are held throughout the year to connect students with the first-gen community on campus.

Gates to Success strives to build community among our first-generation college student population and campus/community advocates in order to help students succeed at San Diego State University. They do this by partnering with our Student Success area and with faculty/staff across campus.

First-Generation Graduate Community
The First-Generation Graduate Community is a student organization for graduate students who identify as first-generation (first in their family to graduate with an advanced degree). Additional information regarding the organization will be announced at a later date.
