Paying for College (Financial Aid)
Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships
The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships (OFAS) is responsible for preparing and communicating information on financial aid. This office helps students apply and receive all types of financial aid as well as offer SDSU-administered scholarships. A listing of external scholarships (scholarships available to SDSU students but not administered by SDSU) is also available on the OFAS site.
OFAS will launch a new scholarship system on March 15, 2021 for SDSU-administered
scholarships. Review of applications for some scholarships will begin in April, so
if you want to be considered for as many scholarships as possible, we encourage you
to apply by April 15*.
Qualified students will be matched to multiple scholarships through a single application.
Additional information regarding the new scholarship application process is available on
the Aztec Scholarships Site.
